I got back from Portugal last week, and I have to tell you I fell in love with the country! Even though I participiated in a wonderful Bus tour which took me all over the Country; I arrived early and booked with João Vieira to cover areas near Lisbon that were not covered. João was WONDERFULL! He looked at what the bus tour covered and took me to places they didn't cover. He is also knowledgeable and kind! I am 72 years old and he made sure to show me the best of his country! He assisted me when I needed it, when navigating the hills or cobblestones. He answered all my questions ( I am a bit of a history nerd) and showed me the best places to take pictures and eat wonderful meals at a reasonable price! I can't thank him enough! He was professional, well informed, and took the time to make a tour that fit my budget as well as my interests and abilities. I will be forever grateful to him!

My husband and I only had one full day in Lisbon (yes, I know very short sighted). I found João Vieira.

We did 5,5 hours with him. He showed us everything you could ever possibly see. He was funny, knowledgeable and great to be with.

He offers shorter times for certain areas. I would recommend him because he did what he tould us we were going to do.

If you're looking for a wonderful tour experience in Lisbon, I highly recommend João Vieira. We went on an amazing full day tour and saw sights and vantage points of the city we simply never could see on our own. He expertly navigated around the city in his tuk tuk and we appreciated hearing stories of his life in the city. While we could have done a shorter tour, I feel we would have really missed out as my husband and I agree we could absolutely go on another full day tour as there is so much to see.
